Handwoven Rattan Table Lamp, 16in

Switch this on at dusk and the room changes. Light passes through the open cane weave and scatters across the nearest wall in a soft lattice, turning a plain corner into something worth sitting in.

The shade is woven by hand over a turned wood base, so no two are identical in grain or in the rhythm of the weave. It is sized for a bedside table, an entry console, or the end of a long sideboard where you want warmth rather than brightness.

Good to Know

Rattan is a natural material, so tone and weave vary slightly from piece to piece — this is what keeps it from looking manufactured. Use a low-wattage LED bulb, which runs cool and protects the cane over time.
