Manual Burr Coffee Grinder
$45.00
Grinding by hand takes about forty seconds. It is the part of the morning that cannot be rushed, and the sound of it — beans cracking against steel — is half the reason to do it this way.
Conical stainless burrs crush the bean rather than chopping it, which keeps the grind even and the cup clean. The adjustment collar clicks through settings from espresso-fine to coarse for a French press, and the whole thing breaks down for rinsing without tools.

Good to Know
Wood grain varies between pieces. Grind only what you are about to brew — coffee starts losing aroma within minutes of grinding, which is the whole argument for doing it fresh.
